Indian manufactured Toyota Etios creates a roaring impact in South Africa

Toyota Kirloskar Motor exported its classy Etios to the South African market, and to the amazement of the company and Toyota fans, the car has out beaten even the most sophisticated and eminent model of Volkswagen Polo. The Etios has managed to grab the third position for a grand period of four months.

The company has launched the revamped model to cater to the demands of the public. The company has improved the car admirably, by fixing the unappealing facets implanted in the earlier model. The Etios has created a remarkable impact in South Africa with sale output of 25,000 volumes. This figure is impressive since the units have overgrown the shipping figures with 20,000 volumes when transported to Chennai. The twin model of Etios is fitted with powerful 1.5 liter petrol power train mated to five speed type of manual transmission.

The car in South Africa is rolled out with a price of Rs 6.7 lakhs and the most loaded model is offered at Rs 7.3 lakhs. The company has generated phenomenal sales with the Etios by releasing 25,000 volumes a year after the first launch. Toyota is confident of larger figures in the near future.

Toyota has strategized the upgrade and market of the Etios impressively. The enhanced fitments will create a roaring response in the South African market. The dynamic engine is another feature that would lure customers. The company has managed breathtaking profits with the Etios a year into launch; the refreshed features can only elevate the sale profits.

The increase in export units might aid the company to elevate its status during the current turbulent car economy period. Most companies are trying their luck in the export segment. This move by Toyota will hopefully increase its car profit portfolio.
