Images and details of the next generation Toyota Innova leaked prior world debut

The much awaited next generation model of the Toyota Innova MPV is preparing for its world premiere on 23rd of November, 2015. The Innova is a super selling vehicle in the global markets and the MPV’s fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for the arrival of its next generation avatar with a host of changes and upgrades. Now, at this point of time, the images as well as the feature details of the upcoming all new Toyota Innova have leaked out and splashed all over the internet ahead just prior to its global debut, offering proper idea of what the new model has in offer for its prospective buyers.

The images of the new-gen Toyota Innova have been leaked straight from the brochure of an Indonesia spec model. The images reveal significant changes on both the exterior and interior fronts of the Innova.

The new Innova’s face flaunts a large hexagonal stylish two slated chrome radiator grill that adds an aggressive stance. The headlights features LED DRLs and these are surely hoped to be on the India-spec model as well. As per the images, the all new Innova’s side profile has also become more muscular along with sharp shoulder lines.

The new-gen Innova gets powered by Toyota’s newly developed GD series motors and the Indonesia-spec model will get automatic transmissions on both the diesel and petrol versions. For India, only the diesel version is expected, while the automatic is likely to be offered as well in keeping with the latest trend in India. There will be the transmission choices of a 5 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic gearbox.

The all new Toyota Innova’s equipment list is likely to include smart key and pushbutton start features on its higher models. The MPV’s two-tone dashboard is seen to have been fully revamped which looks sleek and more up-market with classy chrome accents.

A 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system dominates the dashboard of the new Innova, which comes with voice recognition, AUX/SD card and Bluetooth support. The infotainment system on the higher-end trims in Indonesia will also feature HDMI input, Miracast Wi-Fi support and internet browsing capabilities. Other features include a large cooled glove box, multi-function tilt adjustable telescopic steering wheel as standard across all variants.

The range topping model of the next-gen Toyota Innova will be equipped with seven airbags, while the base model will offer front dual airbags. The new model is also expected to get the safety features of hill-start assist and stability control and as standard features across all models.

The all new Toyota Innova MPV with its great new stylish looks and superb features along with new-age engines is expected to receive immense response in the Indian car market where it has been the bestselling product of the company. If Toyota does bring in the automatic transmission option to India as well and can price it right, it is expected to further add to its charms.

However, only time will tell what all the India-spec new Innova will offer.
